- Exit onto Route 1 and continue for 600 meters
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit to Radial El Coyol
- Continue onto Route 27 for 37 km
- At the roundabout, take the exit to Carr. Pacifica Fernandez Oreamuno/Route 34 for 100KM
- Turn right towards Route 235 and go straight past Riviera Restaurante Quepos
- Continue onto Route 235 for around 2.4 km
- Turn left onto Av. 2 and continue for 550 Meters
- Turn right onto Route 618 and continue for 3.7 km
- Turn right at Vida Reality and continue for 700 meters
- Turn right at road to Arenas Del Mar. After 180 Meters, Makanda will be located to your right
From Quepos Airport (10.4 km / 6.4 miles, 30 minutes)- Exit to Carr. Pacifica Fernandez Oreamuno and follow the route northwards to Costanera Sur for around 5 km
- Turn left towards Route 235 and go straight past Riviera Restaurante Quepos
- Continue onto Route 235 for around 2.4 km
- Turn left onto Av. 2 and continue for 550 meters
- Turn right onto Route 618 and continue for 3.7 km
- Turn right at Vida Reality and continue for 700 meters
- Turn right at road to Arenas Del Mar. After 180 Meters, Makanda will be located to your right
